This section tells you all you need to know about claiming refunds or compensation from Merseyrail.
Refunds
If you no longer need your ticket you may be able to claim a refund. Our Passenger Charter sets out the refund rules for each type of ticket that we sell, a copy of the charter is available here. We recommend that you check the rules for the type of ticket you hold before making a claim. To make a claim, simply click on the refund tab below for the type of ticket you have.

Compensation
We usually operate a reliable service however sometimes things can go wrong. Our passenger charter sets out any compensation you may be entitled if this does happen. We recommend that you check the rules for the type of ticket you hold before making a claim. To make a claim, simply click on the compensation tab below for the type of ticket you have.
